Warehouse Team Leader
Wodonga, Victoria · ManufacturingAs a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the warehousing and logistics within the organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from warehouse to factory floor. Your primary focus will be on managing inventory levels, leading the warehouse team, and maintaining a streamlined logistics operation. You will be a key leader in the supply chain management team, providing strategic direction and driving operational excellence.

- Ensuring inventory is put away in a timely manner
- Set up cycle counts/stock taking processes
- Follow up suppliers to ensure inventory due dates will be achieved
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and distribution
- Assist in developing efficient warehousing layout, and ensure layout designs and process improvements are followed
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all warehouse operations
Experience and Skills
Qualifications/Licenses
Minimum:
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in warehouse management
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical mindset
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
- Understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
Minimum:
- Forklift
- Warehousing ( Preferred )
