Psychologist - Early Intervention & Therapy Services

Join a passionate, multidisciplinary team making a genuine impact on the lives of children and families across Melbourne’s southeast. If you’re a registered Psychologist seeking a more collaborative, family-centred approach to practice, this opportunity offers just that—and more.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

This isn’t just a clinical role—it’s a chance to work holistically with children and their families through a well-supported key worker model. You’ll build real relationships, spend more meaningful time with each child, and be backed by a caring team of allied health professionals and early childhood educators.

You’ll work with children and youth (ages 0–18) and also have the opportunity to support adults, depending on your interests. All services are delivered in natural environments—homes, schools, kindergartens—as well as modern therapy spaces. Full admin and IT support, including WFH flexibility, are part of the package.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver family-focused, evidence-informed psychological support and interventions.
  • Take the lead as a key worker for children aged 0–7, collaborating closely with OTs, speech pathologists, dietitians, and other professionals.
  • Provide assessments, interventions, and coaching for parents and carers, tailored to each family’s needs.
  • Hybrid work - with options for part-time or full-time hours.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist (general or endorsed).
  • Experience in paediatric practice (0–18 years) and/or interest in working across the lifespan.
  • A strong understanding of neurodivergent conditions such as autism, developmental delay, and cerebral palsy.
  • A collaborative, values-driven mindset and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and Working With Children Check.
  • Willingness to register with the NDIA as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (or already registered).

Perks & Benefits:

  • Generous salary packaging up to $15,900 + $2,650 for meals/entertainment.
  • Flexible working options including WFH, 9-day fortnight or RDOs.
  • Gifted leave between Christmas and New Year.
  • Study leave + PD opportunities + peer support.
  • Career progression pathways within a supportive environment.
  • Modern tech setup

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Psychologist who thrives on relationship-building, autonomy, and meaningful community impact. Whether you’re in private practice and looking for more purpose, or seeking to expand your career within early intervention—this could be your perfect next step.
